Music This Week - September 5-11

It's the start of a new season! Well, I suppose fall doesn't technically begin for another couple of weeks, but it's a new season for several music series this week, including Music in the Morning, UBC's Wednesday Noon Hours and Tunes at Noon, and the Vancouver Chamber Music Society, and the Fringe Festival also starts this week.

Thursday This week starts with UBC's Tunes at Noon: Bryn Wiley

Friday Today Kara-Lis Coverdale performs at the Western Front and the Fringe Festival presents Where the Quiet Queers Are (interview coming soon!)

Saturday Music Friends starts their season with Songs of the Far East and Where the Quiet Queers Are performs again tonight

Sunday is another performance of Where the Quiet Queers Are

Tuesday Feeling like your summer didn't really delve into all the debauchery you were hoping for? Well get ready for a wild ride into the underworld today as City Opera Vancouver presents Opera Goes To Hell...

Wednesday Music in the Morning's season starts with the Brentano String Quartet, UBC's Wednesday Noon Hours start this week with the debut of the Vancouver Brass Orchestra, and the Vancouver Chamber Music Society's season kicks off with the Vancouver Cello Quartet in North Vancouver
